Lost Corridors
Privacy Policy
Lost Corridors is a free game with no accounts, no ads, and nothing to buy. This page says exactly what it records when you play, what never leaves your device, and how to reach us. Effective October 28, 2026.
Who we are
Lost Corridors (lostcorridors.com and the Lost Corridors app) is an independent project by Brian Foster. It applies to the website, the installable web app, and the iOS and Android apps.
What the game records while you play
Each run (from inserting the tape to escaping, being caught, falling, or leaving) is logged anonymously so we can find bugs and keep the game loading fast. A run record contains: your device type, browser, operating system, graphics card name, and screen size; how long loading took and where it got stuck if it failed; the path you walked through the maze and how it ended; your frame rate; and any errors the game hit. The server adds a two-letter country code from the request.
There is no account, no name, no email, and no persistent identifier in a run record. Each run gets a random id that is used once. We do not store your IP address.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and three events (play, escaped, caught) on the website and in the app. It reports aggregate numbers only: pages, countries, browsers, and device types. Vercel processes your IP address and browser details to produce those counts and does not retain them as personal data; it does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites or apps.
Feedback you send
The Send feedback form sends your message, and an email address if you choose to add one, as an email to the developer. The message may include the maze you were playing so the bug can be reproduced. Nothing is sent unless you press Send. We use it only to reply to you and to fix the game, and we never share it.
What stays on your device
Your settings, the controls you picked, your saved position, the maze you are in, and your record (games played, escaped, caught, fell, quit, best time) are stored in your browser or in the app on your device. They never leave it. Clearing site data, or deleting the app, erases them.
What we do not do
No advertising. No tracking across apps or websites. No selling or sharing of data with data brokers. No accounts, passwords, or payments. No access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location. The game asks for no device permissions.
Children
Lost Corridors is a mild horror game (App Store age rating 9+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone; the only personal detail the game can receive is an email address you type into the feedback form yourself.
Your choices
To have a feedback email deleted, send a note through the same form, or contact the developer directly, and quote the email address you used. Run records cannot be tied to a person, so there is nothing in them to look up or delete. Analytics can be blocked with any content blocker without affecting the game.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions: use Send feedback in the game, or reach Brian Foster through his profile.
